Anonymous asked: Is this Daum Cheering important? Sorry for asking but I don't know what it is about.
Daum Cheering is something that you can always do all year-round, despite if U-Kiss has a comeback or not, as long as you have a daum account. (Link to how to make one on Rocketboxx). Every official fancafe has a widget where you can “cheer”, so for U-Kiss you can go to their official fancafe and click the pink button “응원하기” to “cheer” for them once a day. Their ranking here could help with online activity, much like searching 유키스 on Korean portal sites like Nate or Naver does.
Related to this: right now, there’s a competition between the fancafes for a special stage on M!countdown for the month of October, and for that, “daum cheering” will help their rankings. On the official fancafe, posting comments, messages, registering, and “cheering” will all help towards this competition that will run until October 19th. Currently, U-Kiss is ranked #3 (behind Kim Hyunjoong and B1A4).
I think more important than either of the aforementioned things though, is the fact that it’ll show other fancafes, Korean Kiss Mes, as well as U-Kiss themselves the power of International Kiss Mes. Usually, U-kiss is in the 50’s or so in this chart, but after this information was shared with International Kiss Mes, we worked hard to climb our way to the top, going from #40 to #1 in just a few days. It shows that Kiss Mes “aren’t easy” and that despite our small number, we can do a lot if we put our minds to it. If we take a similar approach to things like voting on M!countdown for U-Kiss’ comebacks, then that #1 they want is seriously so much more in reach.
